These two buildings have sat next to each other for 170 years or so, and now they both take you back into Danville’s past. The Montgomery House has been a museum since the 40’s, and strives to recreate the house as it looked back in the 18th century when it was built. The Boyd House only became a museum less than 10 years ago and takes a look at the borough’s more recent past. You don’t have to be a Danville resident to appreciate some of the items they have in both spots, and we’ll tell you more about them on the next episode of In Your Neighborhood, Wednesday night at 6:30 and 9:30, right here on SECV8, channel 508, exclusively on the Service Electric Cablevision system.
