Back when coal was king, no one gave much thought to the environmental damage that was taking place. Then, 30 years ago, the Shamokin Creek Restoration Alliance was formed and has struggled to get funding to tackle the problem. Now, they are talking about an investment of millions to clear up the orange waters that flow for miles through our area. We’ll hear all about it. And then, we’ll head into old coal territory near Mount Carmel to show you what one company did with land that’s leftover, they’ve turned it into an off-road park, and made what was once an illegal activity into a legal one. We’ll have these stories and more Wednesday night at 9:30 right here on SECV8, channel 508, exclusively on the Service Electric Cablevision system
