Over 150 Jeeps were at the Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area on a foggy August morning. It’s the second of two yearly Jeep events at the off-road facility that is continuing to grow by leaps and bounds since its soft opening in 2014. 18,000 passes were sold last year and it brought in 500,000 in revenues. Both were high marks.
About a half hour away in Sunbury is the Fabridam, which has been around a lot longer. The recreation magnet for the valley goes into operation in April and typically runs until October. This year was the exception due to the replacement of two bags.
